Why I love Tarot and Oracle Cards For Self-Care

 Hi, my loves!

Today, I am diving into another spiritual and self-care topic, which is doing tarot and oracle readings. I have been using oracle cards for about two years and it has been a journey that has helped me so much in so many aspects of my life. While some people may think oracle and tarot cards are connecting with evil spirits or something like that, it isn’t true at all.

When using Tarot or Oracle cards, you are simply tapping into your intuition about a situation when you are using them in your self practice. The same goes for doing readings for other people. It is a very simple practice in my opinion, but very powerful. Tarot and oracle cards can open up doors that you may have ignored to protect yourself in the past but the cards do not lie. There is something you can learn from each and every one.

My daily spiritual routine does consist of drawing tarot or oracle cards. I simply ask what the general energy of the day will be and then I reflect. If it is a negative card, I will see if I can improve to make it better and if it is more positive I will try to connect with that energy and use it throughout the day.

My favorite decks to use are the wild unknown Tarot deck and the Archangel deck by Doreen Virtue. Like, those are if I had to pick only two. However, I have about 10 decks that I use for various purposes. I really like using my power animal deck when I want a softer energy and to connect with my power animals in meditation. I also picked up an herbal healing deck which is wonderful if you are looking to seek information about medicinal plants and their magic.

I believe using your decks for self-care is the best way to use them. If you’re struggling with something, simply ask your deck for some guidance and then work on it as best as you can. I think we are all so caught up in our heads when we are down and it is nice to have a simple reminder that you are connected to spirit/the universe and if you slow down a little to work on what’s bothering you it will likely resolve itself and not bother you the next time.

I encourage anyone who is even slightly interested to do some research and find a deck they like to use. If you have any other questions, please, post them in the comments! I’d love to discuss it with you!

Until Next,

Julie
